Hi!

this is not 100% correct:

If a player gets disconnected, he "is thrown away into the darkness" with an error message like (timeout) or similar.
That means the connection went away.

If a player "left the dark planet" without an error message, this does not mean he left by intention. It may be an error too, like the clients graphics froze.

There is no way to find out wheter a player left Gravon by intention or not.

The only thing that is sure is that a player leaves a game by intention when he leaves the room and joins another game somewhere else.

Best regards

Can this Scenario be played this way as well Spion?

1. Player A Logs on as Bob and is accepted.

2. Player B Logs on as Jack in a separate window.

3. Player A is thrown away into darkness, while Player B is alive.

Correct, only with a log in from the same IP?, What about a Dynamic IP?

Cheers Jerry.

Hi,

>1. Player A Logs on as Bob and is accepted.
>2. Player B Logs on as Jack in a separate window.
>3. Player A is thrown away into darkness, while Player B is alive.

This can happen easily, if the client window 'A' has a problem, e.g. it crashed. But if its the same IP and B is alive, then A would be able to come back.

Best regards
