Action required against Pharell

Admins and/or Mediators

I am not one to complain much but as I am typing this, I have a ranked game open that I was playing with Pharell. He is getting killed. He is down 2-7's, 1-6 and the 10's are traded and positions of the 9's known. He reset the game and ran. (rank is descending obviously)

This is my first complaint about a specific player and I can tolerate alot but such action should not go without consequences.

I am confused and do not understand your complaint.....

It sounds like you won the game because he forfeited and then he left immediately. Is that correct? What did he do that made you upset?

I reckon gentleben is complaing because Pharell left the game BEFORE it was finished, otherwise he surely wouldn't bring up this matter...am I right?

Anyway, I'm a bit suprised that it is possible to reset an active ranking-game (never tried this option before...) ?!?

Gio is right.

He didn't give up. He just reset the game. I unreset it and waited the 15-20 minutes required to get the win but the game never notified me I won. Plus, I really didn't like waiting.

Unless I missed the message about him giving up, which I don't think I did, he should have just given up and then reset. If I am wrong and I never saw the message or it didn't show up for some reason, I will gladly take back what I have said and apologize to him.

I didn't think it was possible to reset a ranked game in the middle of it either.

Okay, now this makes sense....

Two points:

1.) You can't reset a ranking game in the middle. That is not possible.

2.) Always check the battle results if you are unsure. It says you won against Pharell by forfeit in 6 minutes and 25 seconds.

Apparently I am wrong. I am very sorry about that Pharell. I will also post an apology in case he ever reads this.

You are right oge. I should have checked the results. I didn't think about it. I just thought it was odd I never saw any message that I won.

You might have a point about Pharel GB, but I can't say for sure. I went to play Akritas (who I don't believe posts in this forum) and he was waiting out the 15 minutes as Pharel departed for unknown reason. I waited out the 15 with Ak and he got the win after the wait.
