Nice feature on Metaforge (don't know if Meta is still running) is/was the so called Hall of Fame. As i remember well, some know i have a bad memory, the top 10 players in a certain month were put in the Hall of Fame. I guess many people know what i mean by this. Is it possible to introduce this feature here at Gravon. It would be a rip off, but a nice one.

To be in the Hall of Fame you have to play at least, let's say 25 games a month. I don't know the calculation behind the Hall of Fame. Maybe Meta didn't use this.

It's just a silly suggestion, but maybe other players like it too.... so let me (or Spion of course) know.

I think 25 games in 1 month is a bit much though.

Maybe 15 or 20 games per month would give more players the opportunity to participate.

Nice idea! But every month 10 players maybe is too much, Then you have 120 players a year (some more times).

I think players like Lion, Wussy and Dermeister should be added immediately

And maybe some more.

why ? they don't even play, so why should we add them here ?

lion is never to see here anymore, and wussy not very much and dermeister not even, first they need their games to be added

Its about a Hall of fame Ricardo... There is history in a hall of fame. At least I hope.

But we live right here right now ruben. Who cares the results and the strength of players they don t know? They re not often here on gravon. Besides I want to see sb on top of the hall of fame who plays many games here on gravon in a certain month so that he deserves the "Pole Position". These 3 players u mentioned were or are really good players,but the day they proofed it is a long time ago.
I like wellington´s idea. And I´m looking hopefully forward to seeing me on top of the hall of fame for the month X

But the "playinglimit" is discussable (does this word exist?).
In my opinion 20 games are too less, i would prefer at least 30 games/month. About rating such a hall of fame i don´t know anything but of course the "wins" of a certain player can´t be the only criterion for being on top of the hall of fame or am I wrong? Because it is "easier" to win against a low ranked player than against a high ranked player.

Anyway I think it s a great idea and I hope that these hall of fame is possible to be created here on gravon.

However it still is a nice idea. Maybe sportivity should be added too.

It depends what the catagorie's were.

If it was the hall of fame for "the most unhanded stratego related experiance"
.....then surely I would not be in the running. I prefere to win in a fair and just manner.

Anyway.......in this catagorie I think you have a chance of doing a clean sweep 1 through 10.

Hall Of Fame for: "the most unhanded stratego related experiance"
1st ruben
2nd ruben
3rd ruben again
4th ruben yet again
etc

While on the subject of how to get ruben into a hall of fame (seeing as he has little chance of getting there through his playing abilities).

Here are some ideas of "Alternative" catagorie's which ruben would stand a good chance of getting into a top 10 "Hall of Fame" position.

"quickest piece rotation in 10 seconds award"

"Best swirl of the year award"

"Most unsporting behaviour award"

"Most Borring player award"

"Biggest waste of an opponents time award"

He gets my vote for 5 catagories!

By the way, I just found out ruben is actually a writer. Here are some of his works.
