I think this is not Sadisticīs motto. I played Stratego with him today and the game was almost over. Then I got lucky with a lucky strike
(lotto/kamikaze whatever) because it was my last chance to get any pieces with my colonel (sry for this Sadistic) . The result of this attack was that I was "only" 1 capitain and I think 2 majors behind with my colonel and my last sergeant. Because his flag was in bombs and I had no mineur left I just went with my colonel around the 2 lakes. I waited because I couldn t do anything else. Sadistic had,as I mentioned at the beginning, 1 capitain 2 majors and 1 colonel left. In my opinion he could have tried to capture my flag with at least 1 piece
( I had only 6 bombs,he knew 1, 1 colonel, 1 sergeant and the flag) but he didn t do.Instead of it he has tried to confuse me with his 4 pieces so that i forget his colonel. After 10 minutes trying without success it bored me and i was angry too. He didn t want to stop this stupid action because he was sure that i would forget his colonel in a few minutes hours or whatever. Finally I bet a major of him so that he could beat my colonel to win the game.
Iīm one of the people whose motto is "My Way Fairplay" and I think in this situation it was not fair from Sadistic. He couldn t loose anymore so he could have tried at least with 1 maybe even with all 4 pieces to capture my flag instead of doing this (in my opion) s*it.
Anyway... Letīs play fair here on gravon no matter in which game. Fairness is (one of) the most important thing(s) in "sport" or better competition. We shouldn t forget it.
Think about it...
*Sorry for the mistakes you ll find for sure and for the maybe bad style of writing. I m just a kid *

'Twas the bitter loss before Christmas,
and all through the house,
an Iceman was brooding,
running 'round like a mouse,
Sadistic was there,
with lots of great toys,
there was warmth in the air,
and a bath to enjoy.
But Iceman was scared,
for the bath was too warm,
it would melt his ice body,
put an end to his storm.
The snowman was woozy,
his head spinning 'round,
the hoodazzling was choosing,
it's victim to drown.
Iceman didn't want,
any part of this bath,
warm water melts ice,
and Sadistic would laugh!
So he became she,
And she ran like the dickens,
The Iceman was pissed,
to be made easy pickings.
Sadi did what he did,
and took a big chance,
based on the assumption,
that a snowman can't dance.
Like most things in life,
Sadistic was right,
And the snowman had melted,
into a puddle tonight.

Why not just forfeit??? It appears that Sadistic was like a cat playing with the mouse before he kills it. You state you had no chance, if that was the case, fall on the sword and save your time.

I had the same situation as you Iceman he won of me 1 time too. Well the adminst thinks it is fair play. Maybe next time use a clock.
I think its unsportive too. There are better things to do than wait for Sadistic ending his never ending shuffle.
However, The Poem (is this the right word?) Sadistic write is briliant |

it would be a easy choice for me,,
when he playes a game like cat and mouse and keep shuffling, (its up to yourself ofcourse) but i would stay walking around the lakes. why the hell should i give him a win when its obviously a draw because you don't forget his piece, you know its not unsportif at all. you know also it happens in deutschland and in holland and in all other country's, maybe its not fun in the game but when its draw its draw and never give up like that way. i would play hours and hours when its needed but i never give away my draw.

In a way you re right ricardo, but i hadnīt got the time to wait until he would have stopped it( correct english? ). I havenīt time to play here hours for hours just because a certain man canīt accept that heīs doing "wrong"...
But i know on a tournament here in Germany or in Holland fairness is the most important thing for the players. If there would be such a situation in the game, it doesnīt matter who plays the game against who... the "attacker" wouldn t do such a ,in my opinion, bit... he would either try to find the flag with at least 1 or 2 pieces or he would stop the game and say that the game is tie.
But in America, better in the USA, many things are different...

Nice Poem Sadi, lol
He has attempted to "Hoodazzle" me also, once to success another to a draw. I gave him the one game because I was tired of dancing |

That s right Ruben but do we really need a clock just to play fair? In such a situation you just have to be a man and donīt play like a chicken... _________________ Ale Ale Ale Ale OH BVB 09 |

Come on Flyers, you did not give me any game. It was my fleet footed, hoodazzling footwork and deceptive chasing that confused you in the first game. In the second game, you became the first player to ever earn successful graduation from "Sadistic's Hoodazzling School of Stratego". It was an historic event that will surely leave the name "Flyers7" in the words and thoughts of aspiring stratego players, for years to come. Hell, it may end up being the greatest accomplishment of your life and I deserve a little bit of credit for giving you the opportunity. Each and every victim of my hoodazzling trickery has lottoed his way back into the game like a mexican bandito. To portray oneself as the righteous one after falling victim to my methods is not only untruthful but quite cowardly. All of the whining victims lottoed after being outplayed and each one suffered the mastery of a hoodazzling counter attack. "Hoodazzling" as it is called, is the perfect revenge for mindless lotto luck and surely within the rules. If you don't like to watch the blurry footwork of a mastermind, don't lotto like a criminal. |
