Ruben-Scrubbin' flops back into reality

Ruben87, the latest of gravon's wandering scrubs, just had his dream bubble popped! Shortly after writing posts, glorifying his sickening mediocrity, he suffered a humiliating defeat that is sure to bring tears of disgust among Rubenowitz family members. Below, I will answer the plethora of questions that devout Sadistic fans are sure to ask.

Was Ruben-scrubbin' ever a threat?
In his mind, apparently so. However, such a strongly developed mind as my own was always aware of his inherent shortcomings. It would be the source of his unraveling and suffering as this glorious game took its natural course. Within a short time, he was groveling like a peasant for another chance in life while simultaneously crooning for mercy. Embarrassing? Oh, yes. Humiliating? Oh, the joy. Genetically insulting? Delightfully so!!

How would you rate this latest victory, beloved leader?
Fans, it was quite pleasing due to his recent, ill conceived braggadocio. However, in reality, it was nothing more than a trip to the garbage can, and not a bit more challenging than dumping the stink bag where it belongs.

Is there hope for recovery for him?
Gravonians, it is times like these that family members matter the most, yet I wonder if ruben-scrubbin' has the ancestral resources that are up to the task. Is their wisdom, perseverance and patience adequate enough to withstand his excrutiating pain and related needs? I would be quite impressed if such were the case. In my opinion, gravon should develop a "SCRUB PIT", where scrubs such as he may converge. They could share tales of humiliation and emasculating failure. Much like an organization such as "alcohol anonymous", it would help such misfits to have their own community. Even rejects need to belong somewhere.

Did his game show any signs of skill?
To the contrary, my beloved fans. Piss poor decisions followed one after another as the revelations of his inferiority fermented the game environment. It was not a sight for the faint of heart. As my nature may be, I enjoyed the sickening destruction of it all. My hoodazzlery was in its glory as the cruelty of this mulching unfolded, until his demise was inevitable.

Did he at least acknowledge your greatness with a public apology?
My beloved fans, sometimes your naivety tickles me. First, must come a very long and grueling recovery period, in which loved ones should console him and nurture his devastated ego. He must grope them, lean on them, milk them for all they can give, for his future survival is at stake. Crushing blows like this can take years to overcome. Only after he has reached this point, will he be able to appreciate my greatness as a man and role model for all other aspiring heterosexual males.

Ruben-scrubbin', I extend my sympathies for your recent loss and wish you the best of luck recovering from this traumatizing event in your life. However long it takes, whether it be weeks (unlikely), months (doubtful) or years (most likely), my fan club will be awaiting your inquiries and extending its welcome. Rest, grope loved ones and find peace in the SCRUB PIT; your "home sweet home".

hmm Looks Like Sadistic is verrry happy He won of me. The fact that he opens a new topic just for his won against me makes it clear.

You write/speak a lot but you forgot to tell you were too scared for a rematch.

And Sadistic if you want to prove the world you are a passable player, you can do it by going to the WK Stratego.

Beating Ruben is an achievement, he is one of the upcoming stars in Holland, but if you really want to know how good you are, take a ticket to the World Championships some time.

Many of the stars, both online and offline players, will be there.

Leto, you must be suffering from the meta-scrub curse. I would sooner travel to Europe if there were some respectable females to mount than for a nerd infested stratego tournament. Sorry, but this game just doesn't mean that much to me and as competitive as I am, there are much more interesting venues for me to exercise this, rather than this game. I prefer sports and have competed in such sports as boxing, motocross, basketball (casual), etc. Stratego is a fun game to play in the context of my own home, relaxing by the computer. Would I travel thousands of miles to play? LMAO!! Hell no. I don't take it that seriously.

well, you play a lot of games at gravon. You post a lot of text in this forum. You spend a lot of time on stratego and writing about stratego and stratego players.

Worst nightmare? You sure know how to make me laugh, Rubie-newbie. Are you going to be accompanied by your therapist? Surely you are not going to place yourself in a tournament environment, without counsel, after the traumatizing loss that you recently suffered.

The scrub took a completely blind wack with his spy and hit my marshall. It was pure luck and doesn't change the fact that he is a beginner in need of therapy.

Anybody can go check the player vs. player statistics and see that I am 10 - 4 against this "ruben-scrubbin".

Losing a spy isnt as bad as losing a Marshal but I am sure you know that?
