To all:
A bit proud I can say that the Stratego Club Napoleon was able to win the 2006 Team Compitition.
With Gravon members Apocalypse, Noes and Wussy (team completed with Mark van der Linden, who is not a Gravon player / member) we managed to win the title in Helmond, The Netherlands on Saturday 21st of Jan.
Other Gravon members present:
- Bounty
- JFK
- Leto
- Lightwing
- Lord of the Ages
- Lion
- Pharos
- Pieke
- Playa1
- Ricardo90
(*)
After 1995, 1997 and 2001 it is the fourth time Napoleon won the cup.
Check our site for the team picture.

(*) Sorry, Im sure I forgot a lot, or simply didn't know they play Gravon also
Best regards,

The Wusster has proven his greatness once again and in the process, validates his position as gravon's most effective offensive player. |

Red wins (Always. Even if it was the turn of blue, red would win.)
E5 to E6 Blue must change miners otherwise red's miner is faster at the flag. Then red moves the spy, doens't matter in what direction.
Blue can attack a miner but can never get him. And must move backwards... So far backwards that defending isn't possible anymore.
I must say that in Gravon games this can be a draw because you are able to attack first with the general and then with the colonel. Then again with the general and so on.... This is NOT allowed in real life Stratego tournaments.

The second place was for a team called "The Baronnen"
That team had 4 Gravon members:
- Supp0rt
- Lion
- Playa1
- JFK
(Correct me if I am wrong about the identity of Supp0rt)
The third place was for the Vaandeldragers
- Lord Of The Ages
- Leto
- Bounty
- a non-Gravon player
Best regards,

thats want i'm saying. you can move the col and the gen only back and forth so that the miner never can cross.
and you mean that's not possible in a real tourney?

I mean to say that it is possible in the Gravonworld to do like Sky is telling: Attack a miner with a gen (in my example) and then attack another miner with a colonel, after 5 moves use the general again to attack the first miner again, and repeat this without stopping. The game will result in a technical draw. Or one of the players is getting sick and gives up the game.... _________________ S t r a t e g o - C l u b - N a p o l e o n |

Yes they both are correct, Stratego. On Gravon this would be a draw. Is the real-board rules really different from this. If so, I have had draws or losses on Gravon that should of been wins.
Also, anyone that knows this answer. Let's say I have my opponent trapped in a corner . And he has a peice of mine trapped the same way. Now let's say I have him on a square in front of me and it is not possible for him to get away by using the five-square rule. But everytime I get to the fifth square he just attacks my other trapped peice, even though he cannot ever kill it. Now this appears to be unfair. If you understand what I am saying, let me know the result according to the ISF rules. |

I understand what you mean!
This has always been a grey area.
Although in my opinion it is chasing and thus should not be allowed......and thus I think that is what luc is trying to say.
I have been in that position here only once......and it resulted in a draw....although i thought i could have got the win...if this was not allowed.
Oh.....1 more thing.....
Congratulations on your team win luc! |

hello all,
we can test this with free setup and watching for all.
i am sure this is not possible at gravon, most dont know the isf rules
in detail - but lets see. otherwise we must change the rules here.
but i am sure, gravon uses 100% isf rules.
greetings
