So far, seems like tourneygames are lottogames. First tomba and than mind. Can you guys try'n make it a game instead of russian roulette? The only normal person in this group is Eindhoven.
If I, unfortunately, make it to the second round, keep in mind that I'm on holidays from 15-7 till 8-8. I will not be able to play in between those dates.
If I'm out, I wish all players (except for all lottoplayers) good luck.

I hope Sadistic can offer yu help here man, yu entered the Tourney, knowing the rules and conditions. Please show more, than yr temper requests.
I was more than happy to be involved in this well run tourney, but a gift of life, gave me other reasons not to be on line, yes a birth of a daughter.
Please be a little more patient mate, yr a good player, no need for frustration to take over.
Cheers Jerry.
PS I really wanted to be in this tourney, no choice, but as many will say, Jerry can play! |

It would have been nice to have you in the tourney jerry!
There is always next year jerry!
If everythink goes well in the tourney.....hopefully we can make this an annual tournament.
As for esquire, well i think he is referring to his UL tactics.
We had a long discussion about various tactics involved in UL.
And esquire's conclusion= lotto
which is not a good idea....in my opinion.
Anyone thinking UL is a lotto game, is very much mistaken.
Yes, if you take all the opponents bombs.....then it would only be sensible to do a pac-man and lotto with no fear of loss.
But in general a lotto player loses alot more than he wins. |

Lotto is the last resource, no I have to correct myself, the only resource for people who need to play poker instead of stratego. Makes no sence whatsoever. I despice lotto players and I prefer to avoid them like the plague.

I am going to Lotto from the very beginning with my marshall in all games (classic, barrage, and UL).
And I still do relate this game to poker--the bluffs and the strategic positioning of you chips into hands where you think you have the best odds. Those two principles are present in Stratego as well. Everyone bluffs and in order to overcome a bluff you have to counter it by attacking somewhere else or going through the bluff. Just like poker, Stratego takes knowledge, skill, and patience. You cannot win either game with just one move; it is a long and grueling task.
My point is that I can lotto very well and if I end up losing my marshall at the beginning, I am not one to give up. Most likely, I took out a few pieces that you will miss and I am only down 1 piece. But I have never done this strategy so maybe it will work. |

Bluff isnt the same as lotto. And if you would lose your marsh to me, you would better give up. Or you must be fond of being humiliated |
