I have decided to take a break from stratego. This game is great, but it's not as fun when you are losing. Recently, my game has really gone down hill. I have lost so many games during the past 3 or 4 weeks. Not to take anything away from my opponents that beat me, but I have not been at my best (except for a few rare occasions). Today against bolivar I gave him a General for nothing.
I'm not sure when I will return, but I really need this break. Not just because my game is horrible right now, but I also need to take care of some stuff around the house.
Cu folks after a while.....
Thanks,
OGE |

Hi Ogetarts my game has been horrible as well, but the difference between you and I is -- that I won't be taking a break.
Have a great summer, your friend tp |

Hi
If you are horrible why take a break? The only way to improve is to play stratego. I recently went to a baseball pitching camp. The guy said to become a better pitcher is you gotta throw baseballs and keep throwing. You have to keep playing stratego to get better otherwise you wil become rusty. And you will be even more worse. Think about it.

He needs a break from the agony and frustration of losing. It is perfectly understandable. When he comes back he will probably have more patience and therefore do better. See you soon, Ogetarts. Don't be showing up with some lame aliases! |

Judge what? I am from Michigan so I like the Pistons. You are from Vermont, so I am guessing you are a bandwagon fan. Therefore, you find the team that is the favorite to win a championship and talk crap to everyone else. Now there is nothing wrong with this if you at least stick to ONE team per 5 years (like the Yankee fans). But next year you will probably be rooting for Miami, so all I have to say is: Win or lose, Go Pistons. And I will be saying this again next year, and 10 years from now. Shoot, I even root for the Lowly Lions--And they have never been good.
Are you favorite teams Brazil (soccer), Spurs, Redwings, Patriots, and the Yankees? I bet they are!
Good luck on the stratego boards. But I ask you one thing, why post to Kentinator and Gpeto in the forum? Neither comes here, so tell them on the field!
Besides that, keep on trucking little buddy. |

Hi
I like the Patriots, Houston Rockets, Bruins and the Red Sox. I despise the Yankees. Oh George must be steaming over the Yankees sub par performance so far. The Red Sox in the world series again.
P.S. I dont like soccer.

GAME 7 BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now let's see what your Spurs are made of.
Also, I like most Americans do not like soccer. I don't like hockey either. Even though we have the best hockey team almost every year.
Detroit Basketball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Had my Girlfreind tape the second half of game six, Detroit are one hell of a basketball team, game 5 was a friller, Horry man, how many times has he come up big in playoffs?
Wallace was my pic for game 6, strong and allways on the boards, the Guards for Detroit were big time.
Duncan will need to step up now for game 7, a few more free throws in may make the difference.
Both have solid sides, and the mental ability overcome by all players will be the winner, and as I have to work, I will look forward to some great viewing when I get home.
As per yr original post, Take care my freind, I have allways found you a true Stratego player on the battle field and message board, a speedy recovery is required.
Cheers Jerry. |
