Didn't I advise that he not attempt to play me so soon after a long hiatus? I played him a game and completely blew him off the board. Even in a slump, I was too much for him to handle. He requested a rematch and I gave him one. I am not one of the cowards who runs away after a win. Again he was clearly outplayed but this time lotto hits saved him on several occasions. At the end, we both had our marshalls and I had a 5. He had a 6 and a 7. I suggested, since both of our flags were open that we each take a wack at the flags before settling for a draw. If we both missed, we would then draw. This player refused, instead yearning for a draw in cowardly fashion. It would be a fun gamble but he cowered in fear. He then became embittered and stalled for 14 minutes for every turn. He even had the nerve to threaten to write a post about how I refused a draw! I have always said, I do not like to draw until the possibilities of winning for both players has exhausted itself. This was not the case. Instead we had a limp wristed, lisp-speech impedimented twinkler of a bird, prancing around the gameboard and stalling. God forbid I ever attended a national tournament. If any wimps did things like this, I would end up in jail. Effeminates really offend me and leave me with violent impulses. With the kind of power that I have been known to exude with rousing fisticuffs, things could get very ugly in a hurry.
It is just a game, people! How about having some fun and taking some risk? It's better than being called a - by one of the world's most prolific alpha males, isn't it?

In the end I took a wack with my marsh and hit a bomb.I do not play to draw. Kentibator exposed himself as a faggot with no guts. Once again I showed that I am a real man and recognize that this is just a game. Go back into retirement, kentibator. Wimps and effeminates are in abundance and gravon is not in need of any more.

Kent , who is a long standing respected player here, will now join the ranks of many who probably won't play Sadistic anymore. Sadistic soon you will not have anyone to play here if you continue your bashing of players. We all know you cant return to meta, for they despise you, so what will you do? I can tell that you would probably shrivel up and die without this game, so be careful your number of competitors is dwindling.

That thought has crossed my mind, potter. The reality is that -'s, stallers and such are the only ones that I bash and while that may include many players, I do not have any desire to play such wimps anyway. There are several good, honorable and manly players here worth playing. The fairies like kentibator can tinker among their gonads and stay away from the real men.
Another point is that while some players are being alienated from me, others are changing their stance and have become admirer's. Specifically, blue has recently revealed that he is an avid fan of mine. What a turn around that was!
I also noticed that many had kind words for kentibator, so I am sure that he conducts himself well, most of the time. Last night, however, he was gutless and disgraceful. In addition to that he was stalling 14 minutes per turn. Rather than accept a draw, I rolled the dice with my marshall and lost it to a bomb. I could have settled for a draw also but draws should be avoided if victory is possible. If people here would rather play "twinkle toes" dirac or staller's like kentibator, they can be my guest. Those players who want to play someone who has never stalled, always gives rematches and plays for the fun factor can play me. Which type of person would you rather play?

What is our master of polite and most interesting posts teaching us this time?
There is a classic draw situation on the board, but our intellectual greater being is not content with a draw.
He wants his opponent to go for his flag or - much more likely - to run on his bombs.
So while other people are playing game after game, he is refusing both accepting a draw and going for his opponent's flag. After he has come to the conclusion that he cannot drive his opponent into suicide, eventually he goes for the flag himself and loses.
After that he is so proud on his act of bravery that he posts his achievements along with the usual insults and - allegations.

Well, if this was my site I would ban players should they show unfair behaviour like this again.

Glue-sniffer, your appraisal of the game is nonsense. I could have settled for the draw since I had the stronger piece. He had an extra piece to waste. Therefore, even if he hit a bomb he could still evade my 2 remaining pieces since one was trapped. Anybody who knows how to play is aware that one piece cannot catch and trap another piece by chasing him around the board. Kentibator could have taken a wack at my flag while still maintaining a draw in the worst case scenario (if he hit a bomb). He had nothing to lose by doing so if he had. Instead he grimaced like a coward and held feverishly like a frightened cat on a telephone pole, yearning for a draw. It would be more fun for everyone here if the players were not so damn terrified to lose a game. It would be better if everyone here were not obsessed with the ratings. That is my argument. If this were my site, there would only be a few players left. All - and advocates of -'s (glue-sniffer has volunteered to be in this category) would be banned. What you guys don't realize is that although this is a great site for stratego, it receives much criticism for wimpy players. If you don't believe me, ask TheCommish what he thinks of the players here. He and I have had many differences but I admit he is one of the funnest players to play. He is at metagorge and as much as I disliked him, he had a good philosophy on the game. Play to have fun and don't worry about ranking.
Not that I agree with him on many things, but whether or not you agree, there are many who do not like playing wimpy players who behave as if their lives depend on the outcome of the game. This is a game. Put it in perspective.

This is very unfair on the part of you guys ganging up on Sadistic. It seems to me you guys don't like his fierce competetive nature and so you try to rip him. This sounds a lot like myself at WSC where people didn't tolerate an agressive personality on and off the Stratego board. Sadistic is an asset to have here because of his skill and useful info on Stratego. Even if Sadistic were to bad mouth me I wouldn't take it so personally. Learn to liven up and find the dark humor in his posts. When he so called insults you he means it on a faceless internet buddy level not personally as in real life. The man is very ballsy and his net persona adds to a very diverse atmosphere in the playing field. Remember "bad boys" always make things interesting be it Stratego, Sports, Chess. Some personality is great.

People don't complain so much take the insults as humor. Some of his insults are pretty funny

For the record, who is Potter? You always post here, but I never see your name on the registered players.

I am not trying to take sides here, but c'mon man, do you need to call others names like you do? I am a friend of Kentinator and I have nothing against you, Sadistic.

I am still in an agreement with you about the draw thing, but from what I have read it did not seem possible for Kentinator to win the game. Your flag was bombed in, and you never refuted this point, so I take that non-response as an affirmation that it was bombed in. If this is so, I would not have given you an "extra" chance to win, when I had no possibility of doing the same.

Good luck in the future all, and I hope everyone can keep it clean and a little bit nicer. We are all making Jerry work too hard.
