Frank bad Sport

I had the misfortune of playing two games with Frank last night. The first game he was down (IIRC) a Colonel & a Major. He asked for a draw a couple of times, after which I said "you've got to be kidding". Then he asked for a rematch & against my better judgement I agreed.

The second game he had 2 majors front and center. After his Marshall was revealed I was able take them both with my General. After pinning his Marshall in the corner, I was greeted with the following dialog.

Yes I heard this Frank isn't behaving like he should be.
Check out the X Files section... 4 games he left while loosing in one week time...

Seeing a name appear much in the X File list isn't a good sign ..

I second this on Frank, I played him twice beat him both games and in the second game he was down 3 pieces and i had 4 minors left and he asked for a draw repeatedly, which i of course denied, and then he started cursing me until he eventually gave up. Just dont play the guy anymore and spread the word to the guys who don't come to the forum.

What skill is Rushing in with 9 & 10, 8 on one side 7 on another in UL.

You win because someone guesses wrong on which side they are on.

Yeah you get more wins that way most of the time.
Kent, Pac12ul,Cosmo are true UL players thats way they dont play anymore, its not fun rushing in. Only way I can play the rushers is to play that way with them, which is not fun to me. If you know where the 9 and 10 after you lose 5 or 7 or 8 fine rush in and you rescue. but not the first moves 9 then 10 hit anything.

I sure other UL players think the same as me.

Relax man, before you get all anal retentive on me. I play my game and say "gg" and that's all I expect. You are free to criticize, however the criticism you say is completely out of place. UL is a different game than classic and the strategy I deploy in UL is not the same as in the classic game. My style has gotten me plenty of wins against great players like yourself numerous times. If you can't deal with the style don't play me. I don't need your game since it is you that's always asking me "UL Spy?"


Also, Yes, only UL players that lose often to me think the way you do.

What I just saying is that Rushing in is not a skill, Can you tell me that rushing in is? Dont think so. I play you because I need to show you that rushing does not always work. Have we played a game where you did not rush in?
The game is fun, but Rushing in is not. Your style is called Rush thats all it is. Sence you cant win any with out it, its all you use. How can new players like the game when they think it is a rush game.

after reading above topic thought id say few words , if wins are what you want then rush is a formula that wins as its showed over time and although i dont play that way myself many do , i do have good record against the rush but its down to luck really if you have setup to combat the rush it can win you game no probs at all but if not you are toast , after speaking with kent months ago i kinda had to agree with him ul has become a boring lottery , basically everyone who takes game up now thinks thats how its meant to be played and for me its not fun anymore unlike playsite.com 9-ball ,trickshot and 8-ball pool which i play instead but that doesnt mean i wont return to play at some point i will get bored of pool at some point im sure i do though have one question for you sinister and that is this - does winning game after game in less than 5 mins give you more pleasure than say winning several hard fought out battles where you had to test your skill to the limit ? i know we had some good games and this isnt a anti rush question just wondering what u enjoy more blitzing in 2 minutes or slowly destroying in 20 mins+

Listen frank didnt know the rules so when i thought i lost i closed out of the game and thought i lost by doing that... thats why i have so many of those opponents missing things. Frank is a good sport so dont you worry.
