The 15 minutes waiting rule when someone disappears is way too long. I mean how long does it take in the worse case when restarting your pc? No more then 5 minutes when you still have a 386DX with Win3.11!!

So please make this 5 minutes! Thats more then enough time. I think more people agree with this?!?!

I agree with you, Wellington. Some people seem to think that it's not always necessary to surrender before leaving.

I think 5 minutes is pushing it a bit. There are occasionally circumstances which cause longer delays than simply rebooting, so I think the 10-minute compromise is a good one.

15 minutes has saved me on several occassions when having a computor glitch or for whatever reason. My computor is about 6 years old and is very slow. There are several people who play here that has older ones than mine. 15 minutes is a reasonable amount of time to handle most situations.

 Hi

IMHO 5 minutes are to less time. It can take a minute to recognize that i got disconnected and perhaps i have to reboot or not, whatever, 5 minutes sometimes is not enough time to do that.

I only would agree to reduce the time to 10 minutes, if a majority of players think this is ok.

Greetings

 hello,

15 mins sounds a lot if you hear it, but please remember, that you will

need (most of the times) the same time to finish a game.

i only talking about real discons. if a player forces a "non real" discon, you

can do nothing. (please call an admin, if available)

the longest reboot time for my (i think fast) system was 9 mins.

that is very close to 10 mins and for sure some gravon players use slower

systems.

i never had a game with a discon, but i would wait. if he doesnt come back,

i will ask him next time and if there is no reason from his side,

we have the x-files.
