I Just played a guy called surfer. I was up a marsh and 2 cols. As he knew he didnt have a chance anymore he bailed out (like more losers do). We played with the bronstein clock. The last move was me hitting a minor with my major. I couldnt press ok anymore as this guy already bailed out. Now it says that i lost????????????? because my clock ran out. Please undo this win as surfer lost the game, NOT I!

It is a problem that when someone bailes out, when its the other players turn, that the game is ended in a draw, or even loss when played with bronstein clock.
The one left behind can't move, the clock begins for the one who's turn it is and because he can't the situation discribed above appears.

This problem can be resolved bij letting the one that stays behind move one more time. Or am i missing something then?

I would suggest that until Saturday, when the bug is fixed, that players who like playing with it, avoid using the Bronstein Clock.

Cheers, Tableplay

I had Jenny beat the other day until the clock ran out and a draw was given as the result. Jenny just laughed and booked. I should have one more win as well! The game wasn't even close. Thanks, Warhero

ditto

Surfer, the player, did the same thing to me. He had an open flag, and only a marshall and a minor left. Eventually My scouts and 2 other middle pieces would of hit the open side after he was forced to move after the rule of 5 was enacted.
Instead on his turn he left the planet, then had the nerve to comeback
to a different room, refuse my suggestions to resume play (I was naive to think he was merely rebooting after losing connection). So after the timer went it hit a draw. Guess I dont care about the rating points, in as much his ego to improve his ratings as he moves up from 193 to 192. He's probably smiling about it, and when he does his brains are revealed. And I mean the ones he sits on.

Never played by the clock anyway, those who who want to play clock here can get knotted, I allways need time to refill my beer glass, with out spilling on keyboard.

Take yr time Spion..

Cheers Jerry.
