This is a list for players that will not play a rank game against anyone except for the players they "target". This is the "Anti-Gpet0" Award section.
1) One type will play versus players that are too inexperienced to beat them.
2) Another type is the player that only will play a game when their rating disappears because of inactivity.
3) The other type will avoid playing the players they know will beat them or do not want to risk a loss in a close battle.
Now, we get all kinds of excuses from these players. Some include, I do not feel like playing ranked right now, I am busy (but chose to leave my client open), we have played already within the last month or so, I am eating (a classic), they do not respond at all (but as soon as you start another game--they come out of their comatose and are playing a game), there are many other excuses that you guys can add when you continue list. And this list is amusement only, do not whine to me, I am only the mouthpiece of the rumor mill. Congratulations to all that appear on the list. Your prizes will be arriving within a few days in the mail. Be sure to check your mailboxes.
First on the list is Esquire , his favorite excuse is that you are too good of a player for him to play against. What a puss.
Next is Keyser_Soze, I do not know what his excuses are but Skywalker made a good point of him playing only people with an average of 1100 rating points. Sorry Shihan, but I must agree that in order to be a top player you MUST play top players. We know when you started on Gravon you played all the top players--what happened?
Next is AceRimmer, this applies only to UL. He should of played vs Shihan by now. His excuse, I want to keep my streak going forever and you know how to play UL well enough to risk my streak.
The list will continue later.....Blackevil (he has redeemed himself), Tomba, WarHero_POW, and Bounty better change their ways, before they are added.

Esquire, why did you not mention my name? After all, I am the epitome of a "take on all comers" player. There are some players that I prefer not to play, who endorse manhood challenged strategies or who are just plain boring players but for the most part, I play many games and against all challengers. Sometimes, I choose not to play a specific player if I have played him too many times. It gets boring playing the same player.
I agree with Esquire's concern about ranked player requirements. A player should have to play 5 games per month to continue ranking status. Pull out the dead weeds, gravon management!
I am going to make a suggestion to all male gravon players. When you are feeling a little less than brave, take some time to wonder. Ask yourself, "Why am I not in Sadistic's fan club, where I could study his greatness, get advice on strategies and setups in stratego, and research some of his ungodly success courting some of the most beautiful females ever created on earth? What am I waiting for?"
Now, I am going to make a suggestion to all female gravon players. When you are feeling a little lonely and frustrated at the lack of desireable men, take some time to wonder. Ask yourself, "Why can't I find a man like Sadistic; so intelligent, so magnificent, so damn beautiful and charming? Even though I cannot have him as I wish, maybe I should be in his fan club and stay as close to him as possible. Maybe I should cherish this marvel of god's creation and fantasize what it would be like to be a victim of his powers, taken by his manliness, overcome by his seething sexual skills.........Oh god, create more Sadistic's, PLEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASSSSSSSEEEEEEE?????????????" |

Ok..first of all , who cares what skywalker says..when he gets his rating to at least 1300 overall then he should talk. You have not been paying attention so let me break it down for you. I don't play much classic anymore. When i played alot of classic a few years ago..I PLAYED ALL THE LEGENDS!!!!, i ran from nobody!!. All the greats can verify this. How many classic matches did i play last year????..maybe 50 or so??..most guys here play that many games in a week so give me a break!. I'm focusing on Barrage these days..we all know this!!. So focus your stupid comments at someone who deserves less respect , beacuase i know i earned plenty of respect here. As fo you skywalker...PAY ATTENTION...i dont play classic too much anymore...BUT I'M STILL BETTER THAN YOU....i don't play much UL...BUT I'M STILL BETTER THAN YOU..i play Barrage alot....WE ALL KNOW I'M STILL BETTER THAN YOU....oh by the way..it is your teacher AceRimmer.. who stinks of fear... and runs from me..ALL KNOW THIS!!!!, so dont either of you involve me when it comes to who i have played or have not played...i spilled blood with the best of them, which is more than i can say for many here KEYSER_SOZE..( MasterShihan) _________________ The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled... was convincing people he did not exist.. |

what can i say... i expected such a reaction...
now tell me, shihan, why do you take offense? i thought after we resolved our problems in november you can handle this. i never said something bad about you, i only mentioned that you are not the player of the year with 60 played games. and you won't deny when i say you watch your rating very carefully. don't tell us you don't care about it.
secondly you don't need to tell us that you are better then me. we all know. i learnt stratego last summer, you play here at gravon since 2003. so i guess this comparison between me and you is nonsense.

Maribo
I do not know if he falls under this section because he does play many games. But yesterday we played a game. He beat me fair and square, basically screwed me without even offering to give a reach-around. What a rude person!!!! After winning vs me, I asked for a rematch, and he replied he could not rematch me because he wanted to "check out his new rank first". Now, what the hell is this? How can someone be so in love in rankings that they fail to give a rematch? And then, he called me a sore loser because I asked for a rematch--Now this befuddles me, how I am a sore loser?
If anyone can please explain how asking for a rematch makes me a "sore loser", please respond to this post. Also, anyone that will not give a rematch, which includes over 50% of the players on here, is a name I cannot say on here because it will be edited. And Maribo, I checked your games played, and you do give rematches, almost everytime, to players with a ranking below 1300. |

What really annoys me is that I always give rematches, as long as I was planning on continuing playing games. When I win, my opponent almost always joins my next created game and I do not complain. When most of these notorious effeminates win, they run clean off the site (the same ones that beg for a rematch when I win!). One player who does not do this is ricardo90, a real sport as far as I am concerned. Here is the dilemma; the player that wins is exhausted and usually needs a mental break. The loser is pissed off about losing (come on, we are all human) and wants revenge. Obviously, the victor is not as motivated as the loser. However, playing repeated difficult opponents builds one's mental stamina. Keep that in mind, gravonians and play those damn rematches. This is only a game and shouldn't be very important. |
