Table of Events: Tri Stratego Tournament

Each player receives a combined ranking for the tournament. This is a combination of current rankings for classic. U.L. and barrage. The rankings will be calculated at midnight(GMT+1) on Sunday July 3rd.
The calculation used to find a combined ranking for this tournament is
3C+2UL+B/6
(Any player not having a rank in a event will receive 1000 for classic, 900 for U.L. 1200 for Barrage)
(kleiner is used for all calculations)
(kleiner 2005 is used for classic calculations)

The top 8 seeds will be allocated a group each. The seeds 9-16 will be drawn at random and placed 1 player into each group. The seeds 17-24 will also be drawn at random, and placed 1 player into each group. Then finally seeds 25-32 will be drawn at random, and will make up the last players in each group. (details of the draw will be made public after the draw is made) (The draw will be made by a independent party and be made in front of witnesses)

Something is wrong with your ranking system. Find a ranking system with complex mathematics that end up ranking me #1. Then, and only then, will you know that your ranking system is accurate.

Leto is 6-13 in UL, or 1338 points, so based on the 6/3/1 formala he is hurting. On the other hand as a #3 seed, he still should be able to make it to the next round. I wish classic accounted for 80% of the draw weight, not just 6/10ths as it is now (that's 60% to you math folks)

Short of that let's declare Sadistic king of his own domain.

you can play the players in your group in any order you wish....but the 3 events must be played in this order...barrage,ul and then classic.

you have certainly got the group with the toughest players!

sorry about that....but dont blame me.....lol......blame durex!
only joking...it's the luck of the draw!
Should be a interesting group.....3 very strong classic players!
But i feel sorry for fifi.....he has got it tough!

why not seeding all players.

then start with
player 1 in group 1
player 2 in group 2
player 3 in group 3
player 4 in group 4
player 5 in group 5
player 6 in group 6
player 7 in group 7
player 8 in group 8

player 9 in in group 8 !!!
player 10 in group 7
player 11 in group 6
etc.

player 17 in group 1 !!!
player 18 in group 2
etc.

this would bring more balance.
also only seed with classic ranking - some have no barrage or ul ranking.
working with a substitute ranking doesnt work.

hi stratego,

the rules and way of seeding are on the forum for more then a week. if you disagree, you should have talked about this earlier.
the tournament has started and some matches have been played!! so its impossible to change the rules now (and that are your own words

)

we did our best to try to combine the 3 games, and we think this is the best solution!!
