Would it be possible for some of the turtles amongst us to try'n move a little faster, at least give it an effort. This is what really frustrates me, maybe even more than lotto and chasing. Some of us really need 20 seconds for every ******* move they make. As if that helps, you'll lose anyways.
As for some old 'friends' of mine over here, yes maybe the old wellington has changed into a grumpy old man. But thats because i play while i am working. Dont have no time for teaching turtles a lesson which means that i have to invest for more than an hour in a louzy game.
So i am gonna try and use this post as somekind of list in which you can state whether you are slow or fast, or maybe in between those two styles.
w.
1. wellington - extremely fast
2. mind - ??
3. sadistic - ??
4. and so on and so on....... |

hi dutchy
not really any of my business i know BUT it seems you end up playing a lot of slow players , doesnt that tell you something ? its not a secret that you like playing fast so stands to reason fair few players will play slower to knock you out of your stride in the snooker leagues for example i was one of the fastest players around so often opponents would play as slow as possoble to mess me up didnt work though lol but you get my point im sure but for the list im pretty fast generally

But i get to decide who i wanna play, no slow players for me. If thats a tactic for some players, dont bring it onto my board. No need for stalling time every simple move! |

I do not take a long time to move. Are you suggesting I do, Wellington? If I get a phone call I might prefer to wait until the phone call is finished before resuming. I cannot stand when players take a long time to move. Mind is a fast player also. Strategy Star is slow but he says it is because of a poor connection. Quirrel tends to run out of the room repeatedly. |

Welly why are you complaining? Spion created the Bronstein clock so that no one in a game could delay on purpose. USE THE CLOCK, problem solved. _________________ Der Kommandant! |

Hi wellington,
If you hate slow players, - is right play with the Bronstein but if you wont i have a hint for you: NEVER play Luchs he does more than 1 minute for each move. I say it because i think that some slow players don't read the forum and they will come in your room again.
Have fun for your games!
