Bronstein clock is enabled in this game

I have downloaded gravonclient several times.
To know avail I still get this error message when joining a timer game

Bronstein clock is enabled in this game but you are not using the most recent client version

can someone please help.

silver: not in moment, or did u try to download a new version of the client
Du: other people say their own game works faster, and mouseclicks respond faster if they use a timer over the regular game
Du: the date of the .exe file is the same either march or may of 2003

Hi

check the version of your client (using .v). This bug has been removed long time ago, it seems like the client's autoupdate is not working.
Where did you install the client?
Try moving it directly to c:\gravonclient

Make sure the client has write access to its directory.

I downloaded the old version in c\program files\stratego\gravonclient
I again downloaded the newer version in last 4 months to c\program files\stratego\gravonclientnew

Each gravon.exe file has same date on it
However each version.info file is diff date.
I do not understand what you mean about "write" properties
