Hello Stratego fanatics
WC2004 are played, results senior tournament can be found here http://www.strategobond.nl/uitslagen/2004/wksen.html
Junior tournament here: http://www.strategobond.nl/uitslagen/2004/wkjun.html
Read the crosstables like this:
PlayerABC 38__25:6__62:6__4:1..... etc.
PlayerABC got total of 38 points. 25:6 = he played the person who ended 25th and got 6 points (win is 6 points, draw 3, lost 1 point)
second round he beat the player who ended 62th and in the third round he lost to #4
There were a lot of Gravon players present (I guess 50 or so)
Both tournaments are won by Gravon players
As I do not know if everybody is happy that I link names to nicknames I will not mention any name.....
Greetings, Luc Adriaansen AKA Wussy _________________ S t r a t e g o - C l u b - N a p o l e o n |

Thanks for the update Luc, and congratulations on your 3rd. place finish in such a strong field. Was this the biggest WC to date?
I am happy to see so many board players are now also playing online. I am sure they have found it a big help in improving their play.
Congratulations to Vincent for his win!
One day I will come over to the Stratego hotbed of the world and I look forward to meeting face to face with the many friends I have met online. |

Ah - this is great to be able to see all these past and present champions. Sadly however, so many are just names to me. I hope someday I can match up these real names to their gravon names, because it is the gravon names that I have come to know.
Great work Luc! |
