Firewalls

I havent got a clue if we use a firewall at work... must be! But this is taken care off by people who work here at the department Information and automation. So those people kinda control what i can and cant do on the internet. Sometimes i can play, sometimes i cant. Dont really know what they change when i cant play. So unfortunately i havent got any info about whats happening here (firewalls on or off, IP-adresses blocked).

I can always see the Gravon main page on the internet, but logging in sometimes doesnt work. I fill out my name and password and then it just doesnt seem to do anything (yes, i hit the enter button). Anybody has an idea what might cause this problem?

Yes, I have the same problem, for me to enter the web, my company filters thru a "Intranet Server", either that or the poor version of Nescape browser which is being used by the Intranet Server.

We will be going ADSL next week, and I,m sure this will fix this problem as the poor version of nescape the Intranet runs on will be updated to a windows platform.

I,m sure company's would block out programs like Yahoo or MSN, not a wee little Stratego site called Gravon!

We have ADSL here and XP. Still, like today, sometimes it dont connect!
