World Championships Stratego 2004

Winning the World Championship Stratego is nice, but to feel like 'The Best Of The World' we like to see players from more different countrys....

If I am correct informed SunTzu (from Sweden) who is high on the Ranking was in Berlin 2001 during the World Championships and he preformed very good!!!

It would be a great succes for Stratego in general if some new faces would participate......examples:
Spain - Jugador_S
Greece - gpet0
France - Imperial_Jul
For players from the USA its getting a bit difficult I guess

Most players from previous years came from Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands.
This year there aslo will be people present from the Ukraine!

Anyway, I spoke to Lion last week and he will be there to defend the title.
And several other good players will give 'acte de presence' [is that a excisting language?]

I would love to attend this some day!

Could someone please keep us posted here as to the results - particularly the performances from our friends here at Gravon? Since most people here don't use their real name, it would be great if someone could let us all know the results using their 'nicks'.

I wish everyone participating the very best of luck (and skill!)

P.S. Make sure you tell everyone who isn't playing here yet how great it is to be able to play strong players just about anytime of day or night! (yawn)
