This is indeed not what i had in mind! Last game i played against kentinator ended in a draw. Only because his time ran out. I still had plenty of moving time left. Still its a draw!! This makes no sence whatsoever. It's simple... i have time left and kentinator doesnt, so i should win!

So i guess i have to play regular classic and take the risk of meeting someone who needs more than 30 seconds every move

Not what I had in mind either welly! I told you I don't like that silly clock but you insisted. Actually what happened is that the system time ran out. I had over 2 min left still.
The first experience I had with this clock is when I played maribo. In a totally lost position he refused to move, preferring instead for the time to run out. He had hoped it would be a tricky way to get a draw from the game, as he had more time than the system time. I am not sure why, but after it ran out he had 30 sec. to move again, and of course lost. He was surprised he lost, and I was thankful. Needless to say, I wasn't happy with such unsportsmanlike behaviour.

Unfortunately i have to play bronstein due to little time i have when playing at work. At home i hardly play anymore as i havent got the time. Sometimes you play guys who need 30 seconds or more for every move, therefor i play bronstein as its only 30 minutes in total.

I didnt see that our 30 minutes ran out, but im sure it did. Now i think bronstein isnt my thing either. I just need an option where people have only 5 - 10 seconds for a move. Im sure there are more people who play a little faster. If you need to think a few times a little longer thats ok, but unfortunately some people seem to abuse this rule.

Best thing for me to do now is to put these people on a 'non-playing list'.

By the way, was a good battle kent

Hi wellington.

I will change the bronstein clock times since they have not been calcalated well enough yet.
I will add another bronstein time mode that will fit your needs:

15 seconds per move free time
90 seconds player time
50 minutes game time

this will force players to act fast but allowing them to take some more time for a few moves.

That does not sound good at all! I doubt that you did much calculating.
If I were happy with a draw, I would use the full free 15 seconds for each move.
That would allow my opponent maximum 4 moves per minute. So he would have less than 200 moves to win the game, which is even worse than the other modes! Did anybody read my post on this topic from last week?
Nobody needs 15 seconds free time per move. If you need time to think, you should use
your personal time.

To the "unsportmanslike behaviour" of letting your time run out to reach a draw:
What is seen as unsportsmanlike depends on what is customary and whether it is against the rules. At face-to-face tourneys we usually use the Bronstein mode. The first time someone let his time run out to reach a draw many people considered it unsportsmanlike.
But it's not against the rules! Now it is customary to declare a draw when you overtake the game time and are in danger of losing. Nobody who is familiar with the Bronstein mode considers it unsportsmanlike any more.
So if you decide to use the Bronstein mode you should know that your task is not only to win, but to win in time, before your player time runs out and before your opponents player time exceeds the game time.
When you overtake the game time with your player time and you declare that you don't want to move, then it should not be necessary to wait until the game time runs out. There should be a button that says "I declare that I won't move anymore."
