I am so pissed today! Sorry but I do need to vent my frustration on this message board. Anyway it seems like we are paying taxes out the rear end in this country, the U.S.A. Gas prices are friggin 2.30 for supreme unleaded gasoline in my area. It now takes nearly 50 dollars to fill up my LandRover! This is ridiculous. Cigarette prices are now near 5.00 for a pack of Marlboro 100's. My GOD!!!!!! Where the bloody hell are all these tax dollars going to? They certainly aren't going to the maintanence of our highways. Many of our roads are laden with potholes as big as tires! Our money certainly isn't going to any of the domestic problems that plague us today. You know where it is going, though? Iraqi warlords, that's who! BILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF DOLLARS ARE WASTED IN IRAQ, AND FOR WHAT?.......TO MAKE IRAQI WARLORDS RICH! None of the poor people of Iraq are receiving that money, NO ONE! Now another 3 billion will go to Iraq! This is insane. What about the problems here. What about me paying 50 bucks for gas, driving on crappy roads that lead to costly repairs, and paying 5 dollars for cigs! Repairs on a foreign SUV ain't cheap folks! God damn it! Anyway to those that read THANK YOU for reading about my frustrations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW to you people that bust my chops on owning a big SUV and smoking! That is my right as an American to own a big auto and to pay for cheap gas! What's going on now is totally UNAMERICAN!

funny how things just go up, see the price of petrol allways changes when something is not right, even if the gas was allready paid for at a a cheaper rate.
If yu own a oil company here in Australia, yu are makeing heaps at the moment, they just stick the price up when the market changes, even if the oil was bought before market changes.
one Australian dollar now buys around 68-72 cents per US Dollar, so I guess yu can work out these prices.
Petrol is A$1.05 per litre, 4.5 lites in a gallon so thats $$4.70
Big Mac $3.40
House price Average is $450.000 for a 3-4 bedroom in a reasonable Sydney Location.
BroadBand Internet connection unlimited $70.00 per month.
Phone rental $29.65 per month.
Foxtell Digital, average package $60.00 per month.
Cigs $11.15 per 25, cheaper at supamarkets by $1.00
Could go on and on, but what can yu do when your country has to fund many projects, especially wars and over seas posts.
My 2 cents worth anyway.
Cheers Jerry. |

I was refering to the Abu Ghraib POW abuse scandal and a stereotypical phrase attributed to WW2 german interrogators. _________________ Metaforge Message Board Moderator |

Quit smoking and start driving a gas saving vehicle. Don't take small unecessary trips in your Rover. Do something nice for your neighbor instead of worrying about the big picture that you can't control. Don't worry about Iraq, it will continue to be a quagmire for years to come, deficit monies will pay for it in future generations.
Think positive: Kerry won't be so bad.
Gas should of been taxed at 25% the last 15 years. With 5% inflation starting in 1979, the price would be over $3.00 a gallon. Count your blessings. Drive a Moped. Eat Less , Drink More. Where have Esquire and Cyril been?
Add a button in ranking pages for "view rankings based on players who have played at least 5 games against the top 100 players" to weed out the MSP#1 problem. To respond to Agresor's post: Learn English, don't use that broken stuff. A headache ensued upon reading that. O-># |
