Time for another online tournament?

Was it 2, maybe 3 years ago - there was a very good tournament run on here that worked really well. Not all the top players entered but it was competitive and I think pretty much all the games got played that needed to be. I think 32 players started out in groups? Then we got to the last 16 and the knockout format.

I wondered what odds on arranging a similar event for 2015? It might boost player numbers here again, get some of the part timers on here more and generate some interest?

What do others (and particularly the site admin guys) think? As a bonus, Sadistic can really put his money where his mouth is then!

Good idea, I've floated this idea around but no one has volunteerd yet to organise it.

I remember the tournament I thoroughly enjoyed it even though I didn't do well it was exciting to participate nonetheless! A tournament for 2015 would be great!
