Hi Grizzly, good to have you in. About your son, he can join the tournament if he can play ranked. Furthermore he should make an account to communicate on the forum for planning the games. |

hi,
first the question about the schedule:
we should add a rules, that players who cannot agree to a date, have to play a kind of: mandatory date - eg: sunday evening at xx.xx (+15 mins waiting time)
if a player does not show up (within the max. 15 mins), he loses the game. if both dont join, zero points for both.
also we have to check, that all players post serious dates.

2nd topic:
grizzly and his son - we have a problem if 2 players join the tourney with the same ip. we should not allow this, because we never know who is playing.
in past we had some trouble with this and if both meet in the tourney the server doesnt allow ranked games. so a pitty, but less stress.
by the way be sure, that i check all players (double nicks, etc.)

3rd topic:
i enabled the ranking for hansie

4th topic:
we have to take care that all players are able to post the right daylight saving time / wintertime for their country. maybe a short list of the biggest countries: like usa, engl, germany, netherlands, etc.
greets

most importantly point 1 is we will decide on a neutral time east/west for tournament...
the other points are site rules, so if IP is the same both can't play and its important what Dieter says.... |

Thanks for your post Stratego. We agree with all your points. Zach we discussed point 1. Can you make it a new topic?
For your last (4th) topic as I quoted above its an excellent idea!
So would everyone post their time-code or country? I will add it to the participants list. Im Holland and I know quite the most of you. I dont know: Fonias, Zach21, Gentleben, Grizzly/Kleingrizzly (Germany?)(if one of you still wants to join), Hansie (Holland? ) and Hellas. Please let me know. |

On this topic I have an objection & one of the main reasons I never entered the Marshal Hal tournies.
The ONLY time I can guarantee I can be available on any specific date would be at silly o'clock european time.
What I can do however is give a list of times which I will be available ANY day (01:30 to 04:30 uk time) plus I have 2 days where I can be available for 14 hours at a time. 14:00 to 04:00 twice a week. The days which I would be available would vary from week to week, so all I could do is give a list of times and dates for the coming weeks and hope opponents can fit into this schedule.
If this is a problem or if I am going to be deemed "not trying to play games" due to my work schedule....... then I will withdraw from the competion.
Please let me know if this is acceptable.
Basically I have a 3 hour window for 5 days of the week.
plus
2 days a week I have a 14 hour window.
I can move everything around to accommodate the games, but I cannot change my work hours.
Cheers,
Ace |

Hi Ace, You're in fact flexible enough. I think it wont be difficult for any opponent to make an appointment with you for the games with your offering times above. So don't worry mate! |
