|
|
omg folks our latest and greatest superstar here on Gravon, Mr Deron, has an 18 games winning streak going. He is 1 short of tying Zach's 19 game streak a few weeks ago that was broken by none other than Raven. Rapunzel and his shuffle are right behind with a 17 game streak. This is also one of the few times in Rapunzel's playing career that he has gone 17 games without a draw. Can Deron get 2 more consecutive wins? Stay tuned. Who will break his streak? Deron's streak began with a win over gentleben then rapunzel. The rest of the streak was mid and low rankers. Also worth noting is that Deron won 7 of 9 before this streak began so that's 25-2 over than span. I think that even Zach must salute this steady play. I think we may need to call in Brass to try and end this thing. I will get Becks, Oja, Gavroche and Siyamak together to try and stop Deron before this thing gets out of hand. Ruben how about you dude? Are you up to the task? Sefirot? Perhaps NC would do the job with a single game
*******update: Rapunzel got his 18th straight win. The next longest active streak is a 12 gamer by another phenomenal newbie "petete7" who hasn't played in a while. His last game was in mid January vs nose. |

I think I never played deron before. I like to play him and it would be of course an honour to break his streak. Of course I'm up to the task, I never refuse a good challenge.
Great streaks by the way you mentioned. |

Deron streak broken at 18. Ironically the streak was broken by a greek by the name of Nikko. Another famous streak of 30 games some years ago and posted about here in this forum was broken by another greek player, Brass. Sorry deron, it was a good run while it lasted. El Maratrixie rubbed it in with deron victories in the next 2 games |

3-7-1 record...

To be fair Nikko is one of the biggest lottoers in the game (along with ukdevilz) so he can beat you that 1 time in 10 that he does just when you're on a good streak, its bad luck. |

Sorry Devilz but its true and if you are able to play as Bob suggests you can, perhaps you should focus on that because you will never improve if you keep turning to lotto. You'll get more out of a game in which you lose but develop your strategic skills or pick up a new trick from the opponent, than a game in which you win with lotto. You'll also earn more respect. |

I know Ace has been telling me that for years! If we could get Government sponsorship I would (Im sure chess players get some!) but I can't afford the hotels and travel costs really. |
