I been watching this for over a week now.
http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=150468046489
Whoever bought it does not live in UK.
Bring our Stratego boards back!!!
Anyone owning up to winning the bid and taking home a pretty rare piece of Stratego history?
I just hope some Stratego nut has won the thing and not some collector who don't give a bit about the game. |

Yes, it was complete and in excellent condition. It even had all the originial leaflets and instructions that came with the box.
Apparently it was made in London between the first and second World war.
Not sure if it as claims was made prior to WW1.
I might have to ask the company when they first produced the game. (They still are in existance, although they no longer make this game obviously)
The front cover is good.
The game of military tactics. A rival to chess.
There was alot of International bidders for sure...... I thought might be one of the bidders. |
