I want to warn other players of this slovenly method of * that this notorious "twinkler" is now employing. He uses bronstein and if he is losing, he uses it to his advantage to make the game end in a draw. This is how; lets say you each have a colonel but you also have two majors and 2 captains. Using his colonel, he will chase your other pieces around and around, eating up the game clock. Once the game phase is less than his personal time, he will not move and lets the time run out. The weasel even tried to conceal what he was doing by saying, "I have a phone call". The worst part is, I told Stratego about it and he condoned what Rapunzel was doing. This is a form of cheating and should not be allowed. - - - The facts are that I was *** out of him and he couldn't handle it. Rapunzel, I hope you run that *** through your head many times because that was the last time I will play you. What a *** it was, beloved fans! |

hello,
yes you called me and i gave you an answere. if a player let run the time
down, its by the rules and normal in chess and stratego board tourneys.
you spend to much time during game. rapunzel told me you did nearly
nothing and wait for him. no wonder that the clock runs down.
this is no cheating - its bronstein modus and even the kids here know the
facts. so dont start winning about a fact all knew. rapunzel is a fair player
and he played by the rules.

stratego is right you know sadi, it is allowed and it is also a rule that when a player his/her time @ his/her clock is more then the original play time he/she can let run out, so its a draw. personally i hate this, but it also has good things. _________________ OWNAGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

It's just another * method of escaping an * * and not a real indication of who outplayed the other. Rapunzel can go pull this crap on other players but he has played his last game against me. I wrote this post to inform others of his underhanded ploy so that they do not get cheated in the same manner. As far as me running around, that is a lie. I was way up but I was not going to let his colonel take my majors and captains. He chased them, one after another and that is what made the game clock run lower than his player clock. |

hmm, sounds that he played it good. to chase your pieces for a long time is not possible, because of the more-square-rule. and if he finds your weak part, he played it well. also if you are up with so many pieces, why not sacrifice one or two and get the flag in meantime. his col cannot chase pieces and defend the flag. sounds that the draw was fair.
and stop to call this cheating. if you dont know what cheating is dont use this word.

yes Ricardo is right when the oponents time is higher than the ''overall time'' and the oponent doesnt want to attack, the best to do is make a remis.
I would like to add that I think Rapunzel is a sportive player. Didnt he offer a draw? |

Interesting loophole, I never knew this could be done but it's good to know. I do know that Rapunzel has had a rough couple of days (for him), going 10-8-1 in the last 4 days. Sounds like he was pulling out all stops to avoid a defeat in this one. |

The day after the infamous Bronstein induced draw with Sadistic, Rapunzel won a whopping 15 games in a single day. He must have been heavily inspired by that game; either that or he was really on his (twinkle) toes. 15 games in a day must be close to a record. It would be cool if gravon had an all time record holder page |

Yes, an all time record older page would be a good addition.
Also a good addition would be a monthly record review........where someone could type in the month and year......and a complete record of their classic perfomance (or barrage/ ul/ duell.....but not a list of ALL games......the games must be split into separate formats) for that month, would be available to see. |
