I dont have the time for time wasters!!!

Yesterday i played maribo at duell, and at first i thought he was a good sporting player until he decided to time waste and then insult me!

My duell games usually only last between 10 and 12 mins on average but this guy made it last 26 mins.
We both had a marsh left in the game and my flag was open and his wasnt. But never the less i wasnt gunna let him walk through to get my flag. So i offered numerous draws but he wouldnt accept!
So i had to watch him pratt around going back and forth.
Even the pope would know it had a draw written all over it.
i said to him stop wasting my time and accept the draw but he declined and said i am trying something. But following that comment he just carried on going back and forth!

Eventually after boring me to death watching him go back and forth he finally accepted a draw.
I said to him gg if u had not time wasted.
And he replyed " pfff "
" loser "
Then he went off line like he had thrown his dummy out of his cot.
And he calls me a loser!!!

I come on here to enjoy myself and play some challenging games. Not to get bored watching players like maribo trying to time waste so i eventually give in to his stupid tactics!!

With all this said, i wont play that prick again

Nice to see you back on the forum bro!

Unfortunately it is a moan.......but......I think a justifiable moan.

I don't blame you, being pissed off at having someone waste your time in this manner.

Hopefully it is just a one off.......but his comments after your game......are very sad to hear.

Luckily his comments and behaviour is not typical of most players on Gravon.

Most players have manners and play the game as it should be played.

Maybe I will start up a few awards for players showing good sportsmanship.
A hall of fame for good sportsmanship!

Obviously.......there could be also a "Hall of Shame" for poor sportsmanship on Gravon.

Hopefully we will have MORE nominations by the end of the year.....for Good sportsmanship........than bad sportsmanship.
Should be interesting to see the results.
These 2 top 10 lists.......could then be used for new players to judge whether they wish to play......a fair player or a player who could be a problem...........for example time wasters or abusive players.
Just an idea.............but certainly something worth thinking about.......maybe as gravon admin tool to try to keep games good natured and fair?

Delboy where were you yesterday in our duel game? I was a scout ahead and my armies where marching toward your flag. Then you got a disconnect... And never came back...

I think its normal to explain yourself in the forum, its more important than complaining about others.

I never have a problem with maribo by the way.
