FOSP Classic Stratego Tournament

Hello my friends. I will be running a classic stratego tournament starting on Feb. 10 and ending on March 17. FOSP(Federation of Stratego Players) is an organization run by Marshall_Dave and myself since 1979. You will be required to play 2 games EVERY Saturday at noon EST for the first 4 weeks. The following 2 weeks will be playoffs. If you are interested, please leave your user name here. Rules will be posted Feb. 1st.. Deadline to enter this tournament is Feb. 5th..

It sounds like a fun tournament, Hal. I wish I could join. The time is not good for me. I could join if it was later on Saturday. I hope the tourney goes well and I hope many players join.

I should be able to drum up some support from the Players that used to participate from the WSC Club, which still come and go..

NFL is over then, so I'm in...the comment you made about Games being played at 12.00pm EST Saturday of that week, was that mean't to say, all games have to be played by that hour on the clock?

12.00pm EST US Time is 4.00am my time..

Sounds like a good event!

midnight EST is around 5pm GMT (i think) which is not convenient for me, as I go to the soccer game most saturdays. If it was a little later......say 6 or 7pm......then I could play.

If the time is more flexible......then I would join........but otherwise I could not.

What does EST mean? I dont know if I am every saturday available. Give us more details about times please.

I never heard of FOSP! Do you have a website or something? Always nice to hear about stratego federations.

Hope many people will join.

Btw @ Ace, would you mind telling which football team you watch? I like English football.

When does the turnament start? On 10. February?
Unfortunately I can´t join,though i really want to,but on 10. February there is a stratego turnament in bochum. I will take part in this turnament and it will last the whole saturday afternoon untill 6,7 or 8 pm so it would be impossible for me to play the games from your turnament on saturday marshal_hal.

Hello Iceman,
Because of the new rule change, that you will now have a week to complete your 2 games for that week, you will have until Feb. 17th to complete your first weeks games. Please let me know if you want to participate.
