Hi admins,
Anyone got an idea howmany unique users log on Gravon on an avarage day?
When I check the 'Battle Results' lots of the time the same names show up.
'User Statistics' is telling me more and more unranked is played.
Is this a negative spiral do you think?
Or do lots of players prefer to play unranked ? (with or without a unreg nick)
Just a few questions..

Yes, you are correct. This year we have had lots of the same players playing against each other.
Why? 3 big reasons, IMO.
1.) No more double nicks. We had many players in the beginning that were using more then 1 registered nick. Most of those nicks have been filtered out and are no longer able to play ranked games. At one time it might have seemed like we had more players, but in reality it was just more nicks.
2.) There are many players that do not have the free time they once did. Yes, we do have a life outside of Gravon! 
3.) Some players are burned out or bored with the game so they are taking longer breaks and playing less.
I would say most players fit into category 2, but I don't know for certain.

4. Those that play, like to post, and censorship with the US Players is paramount, so I would assume a few have moved Camp for this reason, even if it includes paying a Membership.

hello all,
jerry: i dont think so, we only react if postings or behaviour doesnt fit with the gravon rules.
one important reason for playing with unreg nicks is that a lot prepair
for the wc and the national championchips. we can see this every year,
when the big tourneys are scheduled. between big board tourneys they
care for ranking here.
