Hi Spion and anyone interested
Going back say i dunno 3yrs maybe a few mutterings regarding programing a computer opponent to battle against also to test setups and generally practice against kinda like the hasbro cd had but nothing came of it sadly .
i imagine programming of it would be difficult but spion is a genius so im just woundering if you attempted to programme it spion and if so how did it go ?
it would be great feature im convinced of it , some days im sure players just want a game with no pressure , a com opponent would be ideal for this .

Hi cosmo,
i always wanted to program a computer opponent and i have some very interesting ideas in my mind. The only problem is time.
Programming a stratego computer opponent is a very heavy and time intensive task since stratego is a very "difficult" game from a computers view. Massive amounts of possible moves come together with a massive number of possible permutations for unknown pieces.
I'm working on to many issues and i'm not able to find time to do a computer program, at least at the moment. Maybe one will appear on Gravon some day
Best regards
