Warzero, if you are as timid and cowardly in real life as you are in stratego, I would expect you to be hiding behind a bar, peeking out for me. |
What do you mean by this, Sadistic? I have played Warhero many times including several times this year. He is not timid at all when he plays stratego. He will play anyone and does not hide to protect his ranking. He will always give a rematch (many players here don't do this) and he is someone I have a lot of respect for.
Also, he is not afraid to show his high ranking pieces at an early stage in the game. That is not something a timid or cowardly player would do.

That is not the way he played every time I played him. He never made a move into my territory or attacked even when he found information. Esquire said he is the most defensive player here. My opinion is not unusual. I am a defensive player also but only until I find some information. He is an extremely timid player and obviously somewhat effective. He has a mouth like an uneducated rube and perhaps you have not seen that part of him yet, Oge. Truth revels itself in time. It never fails. Now forget his disruptive nonsense and enjoy the annual awards post. It is a glorious post for all gravonians (except for a few poor ba$tards ) |

No way he is the most defensive player at Gravon. That award would go to Fedro, Kingpin or brookdale. Even tableplay (a good friend of mine) is more defensive I think.
Warhero does give rematches, correct? And he doesn't hide from anyone, correct?

WarHero is not the MOST defensive person. He is on the list of being very defensive, but the most defensive people I think are Tableplay and Noes. |

MOST EFFECTIVE OFFENSIVE PLAYER - Wussy - I have not played him much but from what others have told me, he is very effective in aggressive play. |
I take this compliment, print it out and nail it to on the front door.
A player who play such a bunch of games must be knowning what he is saying.
To be called 'effective and agressive' is a honor.
Thanks Sadistic, I always read your words.

Oge, if you want to join Warzero's fan club, be my guest. Plan on listening to some bowling alley grade rhetoric and subliterate jibberish while you are there. From the games that I recall, Warzero is extremely timid. I agree with Esquire that tableplay and brookdale are very defensive, also. It is not easy to learn how to be effectively offensive in stratego. Those who manage to do so are a rarity. Wussy has always been known as one of the rarities with such skills. You deserve the award, Wuss!! |

I'm not going to join the Warhero fan club. I didn't even know he had a fan club? I just have a lot of respect for him because he's been very polite during our matches and he's obviously an extremely talented player. It doesn't matter if someone is defensive or aggressive when they play the game of stratego. Why does that matter? What matters MOST, in my opinion, is the end result. Did you win or did you lose? Everyone has a different strategy and they go about the game of stratego in a different way. I think it's neat that some can be very successful with one style of play and others can be very successful with a totally different style. I think it (style of play) also depends a lot on who the opponent is. Sometimes I find myself very aggressive against certain opponents and more defensive against others.
EDIT --- Sorry for going off topic. Please continue the discussion about the annual awards.
Thanks,
OGE |

Small correction from the best lotto player of the year:
the last 2 games we played I won by using unorthodox methods.

I recall blowing you off the board, leto. In fact only once did you play a better game than I did in head to head match ups. The other wins you had were pure, desperate lotto luck (reading the board, as you call it - ha ha) after being thoroughly outplayed. Of course you didn't always get lucky.
Now, go back to your inferior site where you chased off its best player in favor of a hillbilly simpleton. After all, you are the one who chose to advocate pedos as well as moderators who exploit the loss of family members in order to insult. Back to your filth pile, lotto man!
By the way, my game keeps improving, while yours is sure to be deteriorating at a site which has nothing but scrubs aside from PUNISH. Even his skills are deteriorating from the amount of time he has spent there beating down scrubs. What next?? Will you possibly lose your lotto game? Where would you be without your trusty lotto pipe?
One more thing, leto morx; notice how this post acquired over 500 views in about a week. Quite a shame that you don't have anybody over there who can do that. You lost your best player as well as the best writer any of these sites has ever seen. Good move, lottoman. You hit that bomb head on! LMAO! KABOOM!! |

Sophisticated as always. Im just trying to correct a small error (you tend to forget losses more easily than victories) and what do we get: full blown war.
Typical....

I am quite aware of what you and river frankenstein are trying to do, leto. Just be happy with your award. As many times as you lottoed like a shameless slut, you should not question what I say in reference to our games. By the way, who let the pigs out? Someone left the gate open at meta, today and there is an epidemic of roaming swines.
War??? Now why would I wage war against someone who did what you did, leto? Hmm............. |

you lottoed like a shameless slut,
who let the pigs out?
there is an epidemic of roaming swines.
even if my award is in danger for 2006 again, if i read things like this again, or if any other forum user post any
insulting in future, we will spend a long vacation trip. also if people try to ship around the context or if we smell any
insulting at the horizon, the trip is booked - and it will be a long trip.
we had a quiet end of the year and there will be no insulting at the beginning of this year.
in addition to this all old meta stories will be deleted in future.
no one can remember the old stories, (maybe only one) and no one is intrested. use privat mail for this or just stop postings here.

sadistic,
the standing is 6-20 AGAINST you and you lost also the last 2 games in november against leto.
i won't believe you as long as you find somebody else who will post here that leto is a leto king. _________________ "All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you" Mithrandir |

While I agree with Sadistic on most of his awards, I do not think Leto is a lotto king. I have played him enough times to know. He does lotto when he is down a couple pieces, but don't we all? The difference between Leto and most players is that he is successful at his Lotto. He does has the ability to read a setup because he has played so many games he basically seen any setup you throw at him.
Another thing to discuss for your award section, Sadistic, could you include a list of players that will not play vs good players. This list/Award could include many players to complement your Ranking player and Ambusher Awards. I have asked some players for games and they always have an excuse. What the hell? It is only a game and your 2006 rating only lasts one year. Everyone on Gravon knows if you are a good player already: rank means little to the majority on Gravon (I think). So c'mon and give everyone a chance to play a ranked game vs you......
