Suicidal Tendencies...
... was a very good band.
However: just as those ****, we have a lot of su?cidal Stratego players on Gravon. Where are the tacticks, where is the chevalry, where is the fair play, where is the true Stratego?
I'm sure the inventor of the game did not think of any existense in the future of **** players, who do not give a *** about anything except being noted as winner of the game. We have Swatje, Ricardo 87 (or something like that number), and many more players of that kind on Gravon, who will trade in all players they have if they are as much as one luitenant ahead. So in that case it is a case of luck and... hey bro... hand in your cards and make me a winner (haha).
Isn't there any possibillity to make two different rankings: one for **** (and any other) su?cidal players, and one for genuine Stratego players?
People like me, and we are many, would welcome a true gameplay atmosphere! _________________ I aM FReaKZiLLa the uLTiMaTe THRiLLa So F*cK FeaR |

Anybody seen the movie "Some came running"?
Well, watch the games of certain Stratego players, and you will see them running as fast as they can into the arms of the fellow marshalls, generals, kaptains... just because they are one piece ahead.
Isn't it a waste of time to keep playing against that kind? It is like: trade in your pieces for mine, and as I am one piece ahead: you loose.
Is that how they see it? To hell with them. Or no... _________________ I aM FReaKZiLLa the uLTiMaTe THRiLLa So F*cK FeaR |

It seems that "Lost a Lot" Lancelot's first win has gone straight to his head. I am quite proud, not only see that he has somehow escaped the groping hands of therapy after all those gruesome defeats, but to see him bellowing as though he is a proud and respected player. Lancelot, I agree that the infamous "miltos hack" is not a desirable method of play but this is how you beat it. Figure out where in the ranks he has one piece to hack with yours, while there are at least 2 values from his advantage. For instance, your best piece is a major and so is his. You each have one of them. His advantage is a lieutenant. As he is trying to trade 4's, use a decoy to bring him onto one side of your territory. Now you can penetrate him with a captain as well as your major, on the 2 sides that he has open. You must then attack quickly before he identifies your major. If you can wack out one of his captains and maybe a lieutenant, the tides will turn on this wimp player and you will have the last laugh. Deceive him! |

Another thing, "Lost a Lot" Lancelot; there are some players, such as the infamous miltos, himself, who continue to trade even when behind. These type of simpleton players are easy to figure out due to a complete lack of strategic creativity. You can easily exploit this to your advantage.
The previous post was mine but the first reply was from somebody else, by the way. |
