hi there fellow gravonians

this topic is a request for players to let other players watch the games they're playing. a year ago, you could watch about 7/10 of the games that were going on. I think nowadays it's about 1/10. what happened to all those players who let people watch their games? gpet0 for instance - and this is not a personal attack sir - always let other players watch his games. I really spent alot of time watching his games which were very entertaining and usefull at the same time. but today, gpet0 and many other players with him don't seem to allow watchers anymore.

I think it's sad 'cause it's a very good and pleasant way to learn more about the game, and let's be honest, it's also very nice when you can watch two "titans" beating the crap out of eachother.

I have to say that I've not been on Gravon for about six months, and I have a feeling that alot has changed within this period. the atmosphere just isn't the same anymore. maybe this has something to do with it? or are players just scared that other people will steal their tricks and strategies?

please let me know what you think about this issue.

Mostly people are mad that others will either steal their setups and techniques or use them against them later on using a non-alias name. Gpet0 does not come to the forum, but the latter reason is why he does not allow watching anymore.

As for your other comment, the atmosphere, I do agree that it has changed considerably in the last six months. Many people will either not play certain players, or complain about lotto and say NO MORE GAMES (I must admit that I do say this out of frustration, but I do still play anyone). Overall though, the atmosphere is nice though. Many new players are joining and this is always a plus, and the new guys and gals are pleasant to speak with too.

I hope I answered your question sir.

Most of the time I join a game that was already created by another player. If it is with watching on, that is fine with me. I don't mind people watching me when I play, but I am just an average player so there is not much to learn from watching me.

I do agree that it is fun and helpful when you can watch someone like gpet0 or Wussy for instance. They are highly skilled and you can learn many things from just watching and seeing how they play and/or react to certain situations.

I am glad you have decided to come back z0mbie. I hope we can play soon.

Thanks,

OGE

Who cares about what other players do? I want to start saving my own games. Oh, how I would enjoy watching myself unravel devastating strategies upon my hapless opponents! Those "Sabba Takes a Bath" games would be family classics for generations. I would even share these classics with Sabba family members. Baby Sabba's could plop away in their bath tubs while watching the superfluous Sadistic devastate their sickening ancestor. Hell, I would like to convert these special moments onto DVD and have "Sadistic" parties, where my neighbors would come over and be subjected to observing my glorious triumphs. I would be like Fred Flinstone with his home movies! If my neighbors get a bit restless during the hours of rare footage, I will throw in a porn every now and then to keep the simple minded barbarians awake.

Wait.............oh hell.................I should have made video recordings of my sexual conquests! Well, at least they are saved, vividly in my perverse mind ..............She wasn't a day over 18, young and without an ounce of extra weight. Nature had built her for speed and she would need all of her inherent attributes as she was about to be enjoyed by a man of ungodly athletic ability and stamina. Her smile was all too innocent for the sexual debacle she was about to partake in. Like an untouched rose, she was about to be taken by storm. She would lose some of her petals in the process but would retain a memory of pleasure and divinity that would last her lifetime. Her skin was as smooth as silk, her exquisite female shape was all the convincing that I would require. As I began to explore her......................Oops, what was this post supposed to be about?

hi esquire. I understand players don't allow watchers 'cause otherwise their tactics and setups might be stolen. however, I still think it's sad 'cause it's a nice way to learn the game + it's entertainment first class! and maybe those top-players should be creative enough to use different tactics now and then.

as for the atmosphere: I think this is partly due to players constantly changing aliases. don't get me wrong. it's okay for ranked players to play unranked games, but do they really have to use another nickname for it? it's not a huge problem, but I think it prohibits gravon from being a solid community with a friendy atmosphere.

I don't really agree on what you said about the lotto-thing by the way. I myself don't like playing against lotto players. it's okay to take (calculated) risks, but kamikaze with a general is not a risk imo, it's just silly.

anyway, thx for your comment.

regards
z0mbie
