Great Pier Tournament 20/03/2021: Tournament Rules

Hello all Stratego players! Welcome to Great Pier Tournament. The tournament will be held Saturday the 20th March and will be a lot of fun. As we expect a large number of players, we decided to play 6 rounds Swiss instead of 5 rounds. As a consequence we will start the tournament 30 minutes earlier than last time, so we can still finish before 18.00 GMT.

Registration
* Be on time! We will close the check in and registration at 11.15 GMT sharp.
* You can pre-register replying in this forum topic: https://forum.gravon.de/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=3146 or between 10.45 - 11.15 GMT online at Gravon in room 0.
* Only players with a registered nickname may join (if you cant play for ranking yet, ask an admin to activate this at least one day before the tournament).

Pairings Round 1 & Welcome (room 0): 11.20 GMT
Round 1: 11.30 - 12.25 GMT
Round 2: 12.30 - 13.25 GMT
Break: 13:25 - 13:50 GMT
Round 3: 13:50 - 14.45 GMT
Round 4: 14.50 - 15.45 GMT
Break: 15.45 - 16.00 GMT
Round 5: 16.00 - 16.55 GMT
Round 6: 17:00 - 17:55 GMT

Tournament Rules
* The organisers and referees are Ruben (Ruben87) and Tim (Playa1). Please contact one of them in case of disputes.
* We use the Swiss System, which means everyone plays 6 rounds (including a possible bye) and you will play against players with similar results during the tournament.
* Results will follow the 6-3-1 system: 6 points for a win, 3 points for a draw and 1 point for a loss.
* Pairing of the first round will be done on rating. We use the Kleier All time ranking for this.
* On the website please remain in room 0 until the pairing is made.  
* Your results will automatically appear at Gravon, so there is no need to communicate / post them to the organisation. If you see a mistake in the Results, please report it directly to Playa1.
* The Pairing, Results and Standings will be updated each round on at https://forum.gravon.de/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=3144.
* When you finish your game early, make sure you remain logged in at Gravon and be back before the next round is starting (see schedule below).
* All games are played in the Tourney Rooms (scroll down in the Stratego rooms menu). Paired board 1 will play in Tourney Room 1 (401), Paired board 5 will play in Tourney Room 5 (405) etc.
* All games will be played for Ranking.
* All games will be played with clock setting Bronstein: 50 Game / 12 Player / 4 Move (ISF).
* Watching for visitors is optional (it's fun for other participants if they finish their game earlier).
* The Final Standings are decided by: 1. Points --> 2. M-Buch --> 3. Buch
* If the Points, M-Buch and Buch are not deciding (this only applies to Places 1, 2 and 3) --> best of 3 games Barrage --> 1 game Barrage repeating until there is a winner.

* After the tournament players are free to play for fun or call it a day.
* Of course the usual Gravon rules apply to this tournament.
