I've been away for a long time and just started playing some recently and have witnessed some impressive outbursts. Apparently there's a new rule that says you can't hit unknowns with anything higher than a luey or it's lotto and the whole game is invalid.

To those I offended I apologize. I was etiquette challenged, but ignorance is no defense. In the future I promise to put scouts and sergs on the front row. My caps will run as soon as discovered and Gen will slouch by Spy like a frightened turtle. And I will never, ever, hit an unknown piece with anything higher than a luey. I promise.

Seriously though, a couple of these guys have been playing here for years. How do you play a game that long and not grasp the dynamics?

Fortunately, we have a doctor on board to help you with your lottoholic condition and his name is none other than Dr. Zacharias. For years Dr Zacharias studied the condition, first hand by injecting himself with the virus and flinging everything he had in his laboratory, at this illness.

If Dr. Zach can't cure the disease, by God he'll make you love it and not many other medical specialists can equal this feat.

Good to see that an old player is back at gravon! Hope to play you some time mr Darthremark.

What you describe is a player who losses is whining. Very recognising and very annoying. Bad players and top players do it. I think its a defence mechanism so they can cope with their losses. However there are lots of players also who doesn't do it, the true gentleman.

Yes, it is all of those things. Bad sportsmanship above all. But what really struck me was the total lack of recognition of what happened. I even tried to explain it to the guy yesterday to help him but all he wanted to do was rant and call me a lotto player...lol.

A game sounds fun. I look forward to it.

Give me a break - why cant we just name and shame? Bigpapa is rude, arrogant when he wins and whinges about lotto after every defeat. And I didn't even play him this week but I've seen it going on and it's old hat. Surprised he hasn't been booted yet as his attitude stinks.

I thoroughly enjoy when a player takes defeats so brutally. You might want to adopt some of my policies (I charge a very small commission fee) for such moments. Here are some of my glorious favorites. Lets pretend that Bigpapa lost a game against me and began hollering "lotto".

Sadi says;

1. "Bigmamma, I must admit that you take a hell of a beating, sort of like God made you for this purpose. God bless you, for your suffering and complete lack of cognitive functionality, has lent me great joy. We all love a good ass whipping".

2. "Bigblubber, I can't recall a game in which I was able to rough-house my opponent so thoroughly. This mismatch reminds me of the realities of nature, so emasculating for you and yet, so endearing for me".

3. "Bigplopper, I have some useful advice for you. Don't bring that sh1t game of yours anywhere near me again". (this is a Sadi classic, by the way and the fee for using it is double)

I think his name alone is already a great inspiration for you, Sadi.

It certainly helps get the ball rolling, Ruben.
