That's a shame not more players wish to take part, even those who regularly play barrage! People like Tomba or Wulf for example. There needs to be more education about barrage, as 95% of players seem not to 'get it' -they think its purely luck and don't understand how they can impact their chance of winning with a good setup or clever bluffs. You have to play it a lot and people just don't seem willing to invest their time, its such a shame.

So Ace where are the details of the barrage event in London? How many people are likely to turn up for it? I may just come along if I can...

How long is a piece of string?

Sure, it would be good to see you there.
All the details are on the pdf above. Any questions just ask.

Well 2 questions spring to mind:

1. What is Swiss perfect?

2. Which style of playing pieces are used? I only ever play with the European style (red and blue with white drawings as the pictures). I'd struggle using anything else I think.

It's a computer program that pairs opponents against players of equal strength. Nothing to worry about. It's used in all Stratego tournaments. It's just how the computer selects your next opponent. The more games you win the higher/harder your next opponent. The more you lose, the lower/easier your next opponent.

These are the ones we use for all tournaments.
So you will be fine.
