Too much time on my hands!!

I have spent the last couple of days customising my Stratego board:

The theory being that the more I play face-to-face on this board, the more I will associate these pictures with the correlating squares on a normal board!!

I have quite a good memory, but have never really found a way to to use this to my advantage. Hopefully, this board will allow me to hone my Stratego skills.

Do any other players have a similar system?
