There is no question that Ace has had some very impressive victories this year, namely vs Darth, Oge, Ricardo (4), Playa1, Dozer and Ambiorix (3). This is a thread entitled "Ace #1" so I think it is fair to examine the subject closely and have a healthy debate on it. I'd like to see the #1 guy out there flexing his muscles and smashing all comers all the time. I will be the 1st to post about such dominance when I see it. Iceman was looking like he had a shot at the position before he suffered a meltdown. LOL |

ruben scruben: You have my contempt.......unfortunately respect is something reserved for people who earn this.
Like I mentioned earlier.......I wish from you to refrain from posting anything about me......good or bad. Just do not post about me!
Is this task to difficult for you to understand?

Bob, you mentioned the desire to see a dominant player beating everyone and maintaining high activity. NEWSFLASH!! Impossible. The fact is, players like myself who play often and play everybody are exposed more openly and it becomes far more difficult to win as often as a player who plays more sparingly. My tricks and setups have decimated everyone here and after a while, the flock knows to expect my brilliance and becomes familiar with my style of play and setups. Ace should be appreciated for what he is; an expert in all variations of stratego. When you consider his skill level in classic, UL and barrage, how can anybody argue this point? No, he is not the he-man that King Sadi is, but name somebody who is? There is only one other player here in the top 20 who will play anybody at any time; Ricardo. Was Rico el Lotto born this way? Sh1t no!! He observed Sadi Claus and recognized his hero at an early age, whopping down his chimney and bringing ass whipping gifts for all. Before long, Rico was following in the footsteps of his hero and who the hell can blame him? At an early age, Rico noticed that the females were gravitating toward him and wondered why. "Aren't you friends with Sadi?", one young female asked. "Oh.....yes, yes, he is one of my best friends", the young Rico replied. In less than 2 minutes, Rico was the subject of her passions and decided from that point on to forever be a Sadi fan. It was a wise choice.

King Sadi, Sadi Claus:
IMO you are far and away the most valuable player on Gravon (MVP). 1st off, you beat all comers in humilliating fashion. 2nd: your literary skills are pulitzer prize winning: "mare in despare", "Iceman suffers Meltdown" are examples and you coined terms such as "warzero", "Jism-Juzam" and "acerunner". Clearly this is genius material. I could go on but for now, nuff said
PS: it is obvious that you drill more females than anyone in the top 50 that I know of

UnbiasBob, although I am considered an unusually humble man, I cannot disagree with you. I am willing to go on and on of my sexual triumphs and glorious escapades to a willing ear.
Thank you for the appreciation and I must retort that you are a valuable asset to the forum. |

Ace has silenced some critics with a large win over Darth yesterday. Congrats on that victory |

Was it a stall-a-thon? Ace plays bums but there isn't anything wrong with that, since he plays good players also. I find it more offensive when top level players refuse to play lower ranked players. I saw his record and it included several wins against Ambiorix, ricardo, attilares, gpet and Darth. He has run up a great string of wins. Is he as good as I am? Fck no, but you are asking the wrong person. Go ask Mrs. Claus and she will tell you. |

As anyone who ever plays me......already knows......I usually create setups from scratch and rarely re use old setups.
Bare in mind........the clock starts BEFORE a player sets up his peices. So the actual play time period was much less.
I think it would be a good idea to change the clock.......so it begins when the play starts......and not include setup time.
The play was quite intense and with neither player showing big peices too early......it was a technical game......not a smash and grab win.
A good technical game......only prelonged by a short break in play for darth to have a short break. Not a problem with me.............maybe a problem for eindy......but what it has to do with him......I do not know?

I did not know this. I think its a good idea to change it indeed. And maybe a good idea to have a set up time of maximum 10 minutes?
But I dont think all your arguments are the reason for the long play. Np with me. You dont play me and if you play me I prefer to play with clock. |

Hey Ace, can you elaborate on how the clock starts before you set up? I'm not sure what you mean by that. |
